District councils are legally required to have a General Wastewater Control Plan.

Environment 02

This planning tool for controlling wastewater and freshwater is usually designed by a consortium so that the sometimes complex problem of hydraulic and hydrological systems can be addressed in the most effective way possible.

BTEE is usually involved to draw up a report on the condition of water courses, for which we have a detailed and proven method.

The report provides a view from three angles – ecomorphological condition, hydraulic state and water quality – with a summarised, illustrated and complete assessment, a strategy to follow in the event of a problem or lack of water and enables prioritised drainage objectives to be defined.
